Good to know

This historic home was built in the early 1800s and has served many purposes. What started as a single family home turned into an antique store, then converted to a rooming house, morphed into a bed and breakfast in the 1980's, and recently dropped the breakfast to serve Airbnb guests near and far. The location of the Inn at Park Spring cannot be beat. We are located downtown, just a half mile walk to the center of the Old Port. Our neighborhood offers you a central spot located in the heart of the arts district, on the edge of the tranquil west end neighborhood, and just a stones throw to museums, art galleries, theaters, restaurants, shops, and bars. With just six guest rooms, our inn offers a peaceful stay, satisfying social guests or those seeking solace. Each private room, with private ensuite bath, is furnished with a queen sized bed, white noise machine, a reading chair (or couch depending on the room), and a mini fridge. A Smart TV is provided should guests have their own streaming services. *no cable or streaming service is provided by the host* Five guestrooms share the sitting room located on the first floor which has a coffee station and luggage nook for guests who need storage before and/or after check out. ***WINTER PARKING: If we should have a snow storm, the day after the storm, we are required to remove all cars from the parking area so it can be properly cleaned out. From 9am through 12pm cars must be moved. Closest street parking with no time restrictions is about a half mile away so its a good time to explore the sites downtown or in our neighboring cities! The host will message through the Airbnb website/app the day of snow removal and any car left in the parking area will be towed at owners expense***

Other Details to Note

This room is on the third floor and part of the ceiling is angled. As shown in the pictures, the eight foot ceilings drop down to six feet by the sitting area. We have run lights all along the beam and a gold bumper to draw attention to the drop in height.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had! Katrina really hit every single mark—no notes! She was extraordinarily accommodating and responsive and provided clear, thorough instructions. It's evident that she's really thought of every single little detail at the Inn, from umbrellas to borrow by the door to plants and other lovely decor to white noise machines (though in all honesty, I was surprised by how relatively quiet it was right in the heart of Portland). I felt right at home! And, with super easy parking nearby, you can park your car and forget about it, then enjoy the easy walk to just about any amenities in Portland you'd like to visit! Would go back in a heartbeat.

First time visiting Portland, ME and it was amazing! I would stay here again for sure, very easy to get around and has a close parking lot. Clean, unique, and reasonably priced.
