Good to know

This historic home was built in the early 1800s and has served many purposes. What started as a single family home turned into an antique store, then converted to a rooming house, morphed into a bed and breakfast in the 1980's, and recently dropped the breakfast to serve Airbnb guests near and far. The location of the Inn at Park Spring cannot be beat. We are located downtown, just a half mile walk to the center of the Old Port. Our neighborhood offers you a central spot located in the heart of the arts district, on the edge of the tranquil west end neighborhood, and just a stones throw to museums, art galleries, theaters, restaurants, shops, and bars. With just six guest rooms, our inn offers a peaceful stay, satisfying social guests or those seeking solace. Each private room, with private en-suite bath, is furnished with a queen sized bed, white noise machine, a reading chair (or couch depending on the room), and a mini fridge. A Smart TV is provided should guests have their own streaming services. *no cable or streaming service is provided by the host* ***WINTER PARKING: If we should have a snow storm, the day after the storm, we are required to remove all cars from the parking area so it can be properly cleaned out. From 9am through 12pm cars must be moved. Closest street parking with no time restrictions is about a half mile away so its a good time to explore the sites downtown or in our neighboring cities! The host will message through the Airbnb website/app the day of snow removal and any car left in the parking area will be towed at owners expense***

Other Details to Note

This room is located at the back of our inn inside a fenced in courtyard. The innkeeper also uses this courtyard to get to their apartment. They have a service dog so you may see them coming and going during your stay.

Really enjoyed our stay! We appreciated the very thorough directions (complete with pictures) that were sent ahead of time. Parking was a breeze and we liked that we could just leave our car and walk EVERYWHERE. Seriously, it took maybe 15 mins tops to walk downtown to all the restaurants and bars. The space itself was very clean and well decorated - it was perfect for a couple. The one thing we didn’t like was how the bathroom light seemed to be on a timer and would sometimes go off automatically while we were showering. A minor detail! Otherwise, we would highly recommend this place and would gladly return ourselves!

We absolutely loved our stay at this boutique hotel for our annual Portland trip. Directions were clear & fool-proof for finding the place along with the parking that is just a short walk from the hotel. The place was exactly as pictured. Bed was very comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

The airbnb was in a great location and the parking space was much appreciated. We walked everywhere and loved the neighborhood of the airbnb. The space was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and the communication with Katrina was excellent. We look forward to staying here again when we have the opportunity to visit Portland.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable this room was an excellent location to rest and refresh while exploring the Portland peninsula. There are plenty of excellent restaurants close by. The room description and instructions were accurate and easy to follow. It was a a great value at off-season prices. We would definitely book another stay when visiting the area in the future.

We stayed here while on a weekend trip to Maine. We loved the decor and the host was quick to reach out when we reserved late in the day. Everything was clean, cozy and very comfortable! We would definitely stay again if we visit the area!

Very comfortable stay, and friendly host. We were there during a snowstorm, when many places were closed due to the weather, but it is a very walkable area. The parking lot was convenient. Would definitely stay there again!
