Good to know

This historic home was built in the early 1800s for one of the founders of the B&M Factory (the M stands for Morrill). Up until 2021, the B&M factory had been exclusively making B&M beans and their infamous smoke stack was a staple in the Portland Skyline. What started as a single family home, the Morrill Mansion saw many other uses before morphing into a bed and breakfast in the 1990s, and recently dropped the breakfast to serve Airbnb guests near and far. Architectural details that make the home unique have been restored and modern amenities have been added to make your stay in Portland comfortable. With just eight guest rooms, our inn offers a peaceful stay satisfying social guests or those seeking solace. Each private room, with private ensuite bath, is furnished with a queen sized bed, television (not your traditional cable, we have a smart TV (no cable- you're welcome to log in to your own streaming services), white noise machine, a reading chair (or couch depending on the room), and a mini fridge. During the summer months (May through October) each room has a window AC unit and during heating season each room has their own Rinnai heater which allows you to control your own heat. Located on the first floor, the guest rooms share a sitting room and kitchenette which has a coffee/tea station, microwave, toaster, dishes, ice machine, and small eating/prep counter. An exposed/unlocked luggage nook is located at the base of the stairs for guests who need storage before and/or after check out. ***WINTER PARKING: If we should have a snow storm (depending on the size of the storm), the day after the storm, we may be required to remove all cars from the parking area so it can be properly cleaned out. From 9am through 3pm cars must be moved. Closest street parking with no time restrictions is about a half mile away so its a good time to explore the sites downtown or in our neighboring cities! The host will message through the Airbnb website/app the day of snow removal and any car left in the parking area will be charged a $100 fee***

The inn was very cozy and incredibly clean! My room had a little nook and desk chair that made it easy to work during my stay and Katrina provided a very comprehensive guide for local recommendations for things to do, eat and drink which was very appreciated! Easy to walk down to congress, driving around was easy and the dedicated parking area was a huge bonus! Some outside noise at times due to proximity to hospital but the white noise machine made things more comfortable. Place was as described— would definitely recommend to friends/ stay again!

Easy check in, cute older home converted into suites with character, easy walkability to everywhere or cheap uber. Enjoyed the common area that offered coffee and water. Checked out Holy Donuts and Tandem nearby for breakfast. Recommend Cellar Doors for wine tasting, High Roller for lobster rolls, and Room for Improvement or Blyth and Burrows for cocktails.

Great location, great space! It was perfect for mine and my husband’s anniversary road trip. We really appreciated the clear instructions with photos to find the parking spot included and the self check in process. They provided a book of many location recommendations which were also fantastic! Clean, comfortable, cool spot. Definitely worth the booking.

We had a lovely stay!!! It was so close and walkable to restaurants and shops. The room was extremely clean, bed and pillows were so comfortable, and super easy to access room with front door code.
