Our neighborhood offers you the tranquility of the Western Promenade, an 18-acre park offering scenic views and walking paths, in tandem with a host of popular restaurants and cafes, all within easy walking distance. Good to know

This historic home was built in the early 1800s by one of the founders of the B&M Factory (the M stands for Morrill). Up until 2021, the B&M factory had been exclusively making B&M beans and their infamous smokestack was a staple in the Portland Skyline. What started as a single-family home, the Morrill Mansion saw many other uses before morphing into a bed and breakfast in the 1990s, and recently dropped the breakfast to serve Airbnb guests near and far. Architectural details that make the home unique have been restored and modern amenities have been added to make your stay in Portland comfortable. With just eight guest rooms, our inn offers a peaceful stay satisfying social guests or those seeking solace. Each private room, with a private ensuite bath, is furnished with a queen-sized bed, television (no cable- we have a smart TV that you're welcome to use to log in to your own streaming services), a white noise machine, a reading chair (or couch depending on the room), and a mini-fridge. During the summer months (May through October) each room has a window AC unit and during the heating season, each room has its own Rinnai heater which allows you to control your own heat. Located on the first floor, the guest rooms share a sitting room and kitchenette which has a coffee/tea station, microwave, toaster, dishes, ice machine, and small eating/prep counter. An exposed/unlocked luggage nook is located at the base of the stairs for guests who need storage before and/or after check out. ***WINTER PARKING: If we should have a snow storm (depending on the size of the storm), the day after the storm, we may be required to remove all cars from the parking area so it can be properly cleaned out. From 9am through 3pm cars must be moved. Closest street parking with no time restrictions is about a half mile away so its a good time to explore the sites downtown or in our neighboring cities! The host will message through the Airbnb website/app the day of snow removal and any car left in the parking area will be charged a $100 fee***

Other Details to Note

From November through March, we will be completing light renovations between 10am and 5pm. During this time you may hear hammering, chop saws, thuds, etc.

I stayed here with my cousin on a field trip and loved it! It’s in a great location walkable to coffee shops in the morning and the parking spot very much came in handy. Check-in was a breeze and the room was lovely! The water and ice machine in the kitchenette was a great bonus. Would stay again!

Stayed for a total of 3 days 2 nights and I would say the premise has everything you need. Coffee, teabags, water dispenser, hairdryer and etc. One suggestion though would be to provide tissue papers. The place also has onsite parking. Overall a great stay and highly recommended
